If you're a University Hospitals patient, you can log in to MyChart again. UH announced Saturday that the portal is restored. UH disconnected its systems from the internet on Oct. 22 after it detected unusual activity on its servers.
Not everything is caught up yet. UH called the return an important milestone, but some features may not be fully functional yet, and new test results may show up late while data is updated. Its hospitals, emergency departments and doctors' offices stayed open throughout. In a Nov. 5 statement, UH said patients with appointments should keep them.
- Scam warning: UH won't ask for passwords or full Social Security numbers
- Suspicious call or message: hang up and call your doctor's office
- Call volume was high during the outage; UH was adding call capacity
MyChart is back, though some features may lag
| Feature | What UH said |
|---|---|
| New test results | May be delayed |
| Bill pay | Resumes once MyChart is restored |
| Other features | Some may not be fully working yet |
